Inquire about your session, and I’ll answer any questions and provide style tips to ensure your family looks great in your photos. I have limited availability to ensure personalized attention and service. When you book with me, your appointment will be reserved on my calendar with a deposit.

My most popular newborn session package is $495.

Newborn sessions are a great time to just relax while I photograph your new baby, and even take a well-deserved rest while I work my magic.

I have many suggestions for beautiful outdoor family or maternity session spots, depending on the setting you prefer.

Seeing your photos for the first time is REALLY exciting, and I know you will want to see them as soon as possible! Around two weeks after your session, you will receive your gallery. Next comes the fun part of ordering beautiful wall art and albums to hold your memories!

GOT SOME QUESTIONS?

When choosing what to wear for your photo session, I often recommend lighter and more muted colors, as these photograph really well outdoors and indoors. By avoiding bold, bright colors and patterns, the attention will be on your expressions and connection as a family. Some colors that photograph well are leather browns, creams, lighter grays, white, muted pinks and blues.

During a lifestyle session, I will capture natural, beautifully lit images of your family spending quality time together, and baby in his or her new environment (in the nursery, being snuggled by you and siblings on your bed, etc.)

Newborns should ideally be photographed during their first two weeks. This is when they are most likely to be sleepy and curled up, ready to be swaddled. For family sessions, the main things to think about are scheduling at a time of day when your kids are normally in the best moods, and when the lighting is good. Indoor sessions work best between 9am and 4pm. Outdoor sessions can be scheduled anytime with me, but for the most beautiful lighting I highly recommend 1-2 hours before sunset (golden hour). Don’t hesitate to call and talk these things through with me!

Once you book, I will send you a list of my suggested locations. I also love when clients have unique locations that they may have special access to that others don’t!

If you would rather do your session in a studio than at home or outside, I have recommendations for the perfect studios we can rent for family and newborn lifestyle sessions.

When you order through my professional print lab, you know that your images will have the correct colors, contrast and clarity, which is unlikely if you send your images to a consumer printer. All of the products I offer are printed on higher grade materials and thick archival papers, ensuring that they will stand the test of time, and will not fade or yellow.

The latest you will receive your edited photos is typically two weeks after your session date.
